Do Rooz Dirtar

Two Days Later is a 2026 Iranian comedy-drama directed by Asghar Naeimi. The film follows Sohail and Maryam, a young married couple whose dream is to immigrate abroad in search of a better future. Determined to save enough money for their plans, they postpone starting a family despite repeated encouragement from Maryam’s parents. Their priorities suddenly change when Maryam’s father announces that he intends to divide a family inheritance among his grandchildren, giving the couple a financial incentive to reconsider their decision.

However, just as Sohail and Maryam begin making plans for the future, an unexpected family tragedy disrupts everything they had carefully calculated. Forced to confront uncertainty, emotional challenges, and the consequences of making life decisions based solely on financial gain, the couple discovers that love, family, and personal values cannot always be measured by material success.

Blending heartfelt drama with gentle humor, Two Days Later explores themes of migration, family expectations, generational relationships, and the pressures faced by young couples in modern Iranian society. Supported by strong performances from its cast, the film presents a thoughtful and entertaining story that balances emotional depth with lighthearted moments, encouraging audiences to reflect on the true meaning of happiness, ambition, and the choices that shape our lives.
