Yazdah Yazdah Film

11:11 Movie is a thought-provoking Iranian psychological drama that delves into the fragile boundary between creativity and control. The film follows a solitary writer who has withdrawn from the outside world, choosing to live in isolation where time seems to stand still. His quiet routine is suddenly disrupted when a series of strange encounters forces him to confront an impossible demand: he must complete a specific piece of writing by the exact moment the clock strikes 11:11. As the deadline approaches, tension builds and reality begins to blur. The writer’s inner fears, suppressed memories, and moral dilemmas surface, turning the act of writing into a battle for identity and freedom. The film uses minimal dialogue, symbolic imagery, and an unsettling atmosphere to draw viewers deep into the character’s psychological state. Rather than offering clear answers, 11:11 invites interpretation, exploring themes of pressure, free will, and the cost of artistic expression. With its slow-burn narrative and haunting tone, the film stands out as a bold and introspective work in contemporary Iranian cinema. 11:11 is a gripping experience that lingers long after the final scene, challenging audiences to question time, choice, and the power of the mind.
