Taksidermi Film is an Iranian comedy and adventure movie released in 2026, directed by Mohammad Paydar. Set against the dramatic historical background of Iran’s 1979 Revolution, the film delivers an unusual combination of humor, suspense, and political satire through an entertaining and unpredictable storyline.

The story revolves around three men who embark on an extraordinary mission involving the capture of a rare Persian fallow deer. Their seemingly simple assignment soon turns into a chaotic adventure as they encounter unexpected obstacles, conflicting interests, and increasingly complicated situations.

While the country experiences major political changes, the characters become entangled in circumstances far beyond their original expectations. Their different personalities and questionable decisions lead to amusing misunderstandings, surprising discoveries, and moments of tension that keep the narrative moving forward.

Featuring popular Iranian actors Majid Salehi, Hassan Majooni, Hadi Kazemi, Bijan Banafshekhah, and Anahita Dargahi, the movie offers energetic performances and a distinctive approach to historical storytelling.

Rather than presenting history through a conventional dramatic narrative, Taksidermi uses comedy and absurd situations to explore human ambition, survival, and uncertainty during a turbulent era. With its entertaining characters, unusual premise, and mixture of adventure and satire, the film provides a refreshing cinematic experience for audiences who enjoy Iranian comedies with historical themes.
