Yek Tasadofe Sade

Yek Tasadofe Sade is an intimate Iranian drama that explores how a single unexpected moment can unravel hidden truths and reshape the lives of ordinary people. The story follows Reza, a quiet schoolteacher living in a small northern town, whose daily routines are shattered when he becomes involved in a minor car accident on a fog-covered rural road. Although the crash at first appears inconsequential, it sets off a chain of emotional and moral dilemmas that force Reza to confront long-ignored tensions within his family and community.

As Reza attempts to take responsibility for the incident, he finds himself entangled with Sara, the young woman injured in the collision. Their encounters reveal layers of guilt, fear, and unspoken longing, exposing how easily truth can bend under social pressure. Through restrained performances and naturalistic cinematography, the film captures the quiet beauty of village life while highlighting its unspoken codes and expectations.

Ultimately, A Simple Accident becomes a meditation on fate, accountability, and the fragile connections that bind people together. It invites viewers to reflect on how a single moment—simple on the surface—can echo through an entire life, altering its path forever.
