عشق ابدی فصل 3 · قسمت 56

Eshghe Abadi Episode 56 is a 2025 Iranian dating reality series, hosted by Parastoo Salehi. Set in an opulent Turkish villa in Bodrum, it brings together five men and five women living under one roof, navigating romantic entanglements and competing for a grand prize of US $30,000. Since its launch in April, the series quickly surged to viral status—each episode attracting between 3 to 7 million views, accumulating over 47 million views across 27 episodes by early June. Its appeal lies in the release of taboos: open flirtation, alcohol consumption, and intimate scenes—elements strictly censored in Iran.

The show has split opinion sharply. Conservative figures have labeled it “vile” and “insulting” to Iranian culture, while others denounce it as a superficial endangerment to psychological well-being. A number of psychologists warn that rapid, manufactured relationships and emotional manipulation may fuel unrealistic expectations among viewers, triggering cycles of validation-seeking and insecurity.

Social media dialogue is equally polarized—some believe the show exposes social realities normally hidden behind censorship, while others see it as shallow entertainment that undermines authentic intimacy . As an Iranian first in mainstream dating TV, it also spurred immediate backlash when a contestant’s aggressive comments sparked a broader “cancel” movement among women online.

Despite the debate, Eshghe Abadi has undeniably reshaped Iran’s media landscape—bridging stifled cultural discourse, democratizing romantic storytelling, and drawing in unprecedented digital viewership. It remains one of the most provocative, controversial, and talked-about Persian-language programs of 2025—a cultural lightning rod that highlights the tension between tradition and modernity.
