Saddam Ra Bokosh

Saddam Ra Bokosh is an Iranian dark comedy-drama that blends political satire with elements of suspense. The film follows an ordinary man whose life takes an unexpected turn when he is discovered to bear a striking resemblance to the former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. Because of this uncanny similarity, he is recruited into a covert operation and trained to act as a body double in a high-stakes mission set in Tehran.

As the story unfolds, the protagonist becomes increasingly entangled in a dangerous and absurd situation that blurs the line between performance and reality. What begins as an opportunity quickly turns into a psychological and moral dilemma, as he struggles with identity, fear, and the consequences of impersonating such a controversial figure.

The film combines humor with tension, using satire to reflect on power, propaganda, and the lingering cultural memory of Saddam Hussein in the region. At the same time, it explores how ordinary individuals can be pulled into political schemes far beyond their control.

Ultimately, Kill Saddam presents a unique narrative that mixes comedy and drama to examine identity, manipulation, and the unpredictable nature of political conflict.
